Ok so im kinda worried here

I have for the first time in two months a potential job in industry. the probolem is it wants a high gpa... The main issue is I told her i had a decent gpa but i thoght she was asking major gpa... my real one is ... not very good... to say the least... my fault for screwing up the first year.

Sigh so yeah thats news to anyone who may read this... later.

and back from a three month hiatus in aruba....Ellllllllll' Spiekeo!!!

So the first time Ive logged on to this site since I left school... I still haven't completed either of my degrees officially. And the internship I need desperately now is just beyond my grasp over and over. The GFs mom has decided randomly to change her mind to the ability to hold the cats for a few short weeks. And Im still living in my mothers basement awaiting employment.
I am in what could be accuratly defined as a "funk" and not the 70's music fad type.

So Here I am to say .. yitter yitter jitterbug Frop walla tromp fizz... So yeah ... nothing a short hot and wholly uneventful summer... im off top get my crappy truckstop job back to be able to earn money to at least move out even if i have no degree YET.

so the world isnt ending and i think that i will be able to pull everytrhing to gether for my portfolio presentation without a hitch... I just need to give up any thing resembling a social life during the next weeks.
With one exception... this friday is my Sweet munin (the GF) and i's one year aniversary... Yay cheers and merriment and such... were going to red lobster and stealing forty pounds of cheesy bread... woo hoooo.... and such... congratulations are accepted if you feel like giving them ...
But yeah im going to be pushing the envelope to get my schooling done. its gonna be close.

I spelled the term wrong... i don't care 19 credits and graduation.... Its making a forced early "retirement" seem more and more enticing... I like the idea of sleeping without the pain of waking up in a cold panic thinking"hey I could be working right now, why should i be sleeping?"

This is starting to panic me a little. and the newly derived sunlight as well as the support of my Dear Lil Munin (the GF).
My biggest problem is i have way way too many ideas and not enough drive to finish them. I want to do my work... I have so many cool ideas., so much i could be doing. but i need a focus. I'm starting to think that the worlds most irritating customer would be better than me to do this simply because then id at least have one person who's unachievable ideas are at least set where i can grasp them mentally and where i can get one idea. I have hundreds of OK to great ideas.. none of them are staying long enough for me to do what i need to do.

So i sit and whine onto this site. I sit here and complain and every second i spend here is another second i don't have to do my damned work anymore. I'm about three microns from freaking out. But hey its been worse.

Starting to make sense

ok so I have officially made the first of many many posts and updates to the geekipedia page... Im so proud... as soon as i re edit the entries on the others i have compleated i will be setting links and images. as well as building the entries on the more expansive topics to include more information.

On the down side i belive i have finnaly gotten an interview for a summer internship and the problem is that i dont have a finished portfolio yet... it actually causing some severe panic

Ok so i found my jump drive... I was so damned tired on thursday i left it in the computer i duid that powerpoint presentation from... I am just so damn happy it was there.
So i am learning what i need to figure out about the wiki site and should have a desenct amount of material to put up on the Geeki site tonight....

At longest last I will finnaly get the geekipedia on line.. Praise Allah, Buhdda, Jesus, Vishnu, Brama, Shiva, Tom cruise, Spongebob, the Taoist Jade Emperor, and Hue (from Ekencar) ... Whichever if any of you that decided to lift the pain in the ass roadblock that was never getting to be able to post.

Now to me.... 19 credits is more than i ever evre tried before and outside of suffering from high end burnout. I have this sinking feeling that they are going to find out i missed intermedite yodeling and thus need to take a yodeling class over summer to graduate.

For those who understand what it means today i begin the long lengthy process of looking for an internship... i need this to graduate. I just hope to all that stands that i can get one. more updateing early this evening.

Alright I haven't posted to this i n a while And the primary reason im doing so now is that I have yet to really begin the online portion of my Geekipedia Project For Morgan's web logs class... Due primarily to the 3D modeling class I mentioned in the previous post... Im currently writing it in word Offline and Intend to post the first four entries simultaneously In the coming week... To the few friends that Read this blog.... Damn home work... damn it to hell... I've never stretched myself this thin with my school work... The fact that I don't (or hopefully don't) need wake up till noon on Monday seems a godsend to my sleep deprivation addled brain. So .... Crap in a hat... I dont even know where i m going with this.

Im up and im at class... the teacher needed to goto a conference or something in my 8-in-the-morning class. She put the assitant in charge of telling us basic shit.... I hope they pass around the attendance sheet... Im going friggin loco in the cabesa.

So last night i saw pans labyrinth... I thought it was great... to those who intend to see it do... and I hope this isnt a spoiler... but the scene with the cheek is awsomely disturbing.

The GF needs sleep... more than anything i think she needs a week off for her sanity... Everyone around her can tell this... But still... when shes tired shes irritable... and she gets edgy and everyone around her tries to avoid the topic... I love her... I need her to be happy... she needs to skip classes once in a bloody while... yes shes the vice president of choir... she hasnt missed a day except when she was so sick she was a danger to everyone else... I have 8 extra tardy chips from when I was in the course... I have offered...

I wish for her sake that she wasnt so responsible sometimes...

Well you see chancellor the earth is a tiny Life supporting planet that has somehow, someway, developed semi sentient Life forms that call them selves human... They think and have far above standard animal problem solving skills...
On the other hand... They're made of meat... Thats right...Meat.. not sentient crystals... Not a conscious cloud of gas with a mineral core... Meat...

Its like peacefully trying to work with and coexist with spam... I fear this... Hell they've Even enslaved a dull witted demi-race of silicon based life forms called Compu Tors... they tear them apart and change them at will then run them till they die.. or become "obsolete"..

So here it is 11: 30 at night. Ive spent almost my whole damned day trying to figure something that I'm sure is there easiest thing in the world to do in a computer rendering program. 3D- Studio Max. And i must say that I'm thinking rather seriously of killing the entire writing directing and production staff of Saturday Night Lights... You know on principle. They have nothing to do with my problem but damn if they don't deserve it for that piece of shit program....

In the program i need to find out how to make a barrel. It involves about twelve clicks of the mouse and one button on the command screen. AND I CANT FRIGGIN' FIND IT!!!!

I'm good I'm good... the murderous rage is normal... It'll all be good when i figure it out

The Peep Blog
That's right, a blog dedicated entirely to the eternally present marshmallow peeps making their yearly wave assault upon supermarkets and chain superstores across the land.

Filter/ Notebook/ Or Journal? : I'm going to say a bit of notebook and journal combined as it tends to detail some of the interaction of the bloggers with the Marshmallow peeps. and the bizarre experiment they conduct with said marshmallow implements.

Genre?: Personal With a strong dose of humor. How could it not be with this topic

Purpose?: self expression of a personal interest . The topic takes many bizzare twists as the subject continues. Topics like cooking with peeps where the author prepares the peeps in... interesting ways. Begining with ways to cook them that would in all cases invariably result in the destruction of said peeps if done wrong as well as... Poaching peeps which I find somewhat nauseating. As well as a set of posts treating the peeps as a natural resource and a naturally occuring plant that must be watched and looked after to presewrve thier numbers for future generations. To a segment called "Peep my ride" where it a practical joke is played on the recipiant and the peeps are affixed through whatever means in semi artistic patterns...

I like this site and enjoyed the off sens of humor inherant to it.. The downside i realized after reading into the archives a short way is that it has been quite some time scine its last update. I think its a shame honestly that this has been seemingly abandoned but hope that it may be restarted at a later date.

Well this site Superherohype.com is one I jump on to on a semi regular basis, Unlike the first one this site focuses on things I always follow. The hard state of Superhero fan geekdom, I am one with this. I am a consumer whore... That begs the question would these guys be the pimps or the johns in this little transaction.

Filter/ Notebook/or Journal? : This would definatly be a Filter. The information presented is all about one source or another of the broad topic that is the geek front of comics. News reguarding movies, toys, video games, board games, TV shows, Books (of course). Everything a geek could want to know about his upcoming hobby. as well as links to the Sites of companys and persons who produce said products... There sems to be little reguarding the attitudes of the makers save what they decide to link too.

Genre?: Geek masterwork professional. It exists to link and inform it readers of their Hobbies updates.

The Pourpose Of this is to inform and furthur the means of this niche branch of the popculture market. It keeps updated as any site I've found and actually gives information that is quite pertinant to the intrests of thier users. It posts trailers, reviews by a few semi profesional movie critics, previews that are filterd by the site authors for relevance ( I saw several Other similar sites that posted much less situationally pertinant information) and the point that makes it interactive, they have a site division for fan reviews of products movies and such.

TV squad.com Since i spend what would have to be referred to as an unhealthy amount of time In front of the television I thought that I should start the search there just as a matter of course.

Definitely a filter All the information displayed is related to real (and usually totally unimportant) News regarding the actors directors and writers in popular television and event that take up a great deal of media coverage. Near all the links direct one towards sites that relate towards the stories being commented on and most were, in their own right, Useful.

Genre? Pop culture/Professional It is owned and paid for by the AOL entertainment to follow the Head of pop/news culture. Whatever, It seems, that may be.

Purpose? : Another source for what seems like an endless supply of information. From top rated Television shows to The news scandal of the hour they seem to be very up on their information ( one point actually going so far as to clarify which Gabor sister was in green acres even though it was a secondary topic) . It offers information regarding everything from Survivor Fiji to The Daily Show to The Boston Cartoon Network scandal with the blinky lights. Several posts a day keep it updated and They even
As a pop culture hub it offers a site for feedback to help them trace what the readers may actually be interested in. As well it is an AOL hub for any and all Popular culture sites that AOL has to offer.

As an overall the site is well assembled... But oh god, why? I like TV too much but this is nigh unto ridiculous.

Yeah OK so week three Post... I am way way behind on this stuff I know its my deal and I just need to get used to the swing but jeez.
OK so... I have to deal with the fact that this planet is slowly losing its orbit and will eventually fly off into eternity. The cosmic radiation bombarding it will eventually disintegrate even the atomic leftovers of human kind. Leaving little or no evidence that we ever existed......

On the upside I got one semester left till I'm finally out of this place... I like school but I'm getting so tired of Bemidji. So grad plans done. Portfolio in process... Video games.... Way ... way too far in the video games... Kinda disturbing actually... But whatever.

On a semi related note in wiki class today Morgan said That words speak louder than actions due to the fact that words will be around longer. I would agree in most cases though by means of a personal parable I would like to say "Words may speak louder than actions, depending on how big a Crater those actions leave behind them." I'm not contradicting his comment by any means I'm just placing a personal addendum onto them.

Before I complete this post A frightening realization has exposed itself to me. At least according to the spell checker this is the first time I haven't needed to spell correct anything in the post... To those who know my work...

This happend awhile ago and it, like all things of memory, may be somewhat embellished by time. The point though is what is important here. I was sitting and play Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Just like driving things into other things for fun, when I get a phone call. I answer it and it turns out to be a Jehovas Witness. Telemarketing for converts, this would be wierd enough cuz i knew the question "Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your lord and savior?" Would happen eventually. I respond " NO, actually, im a taoist."
The Phone went dead for a few seconds and I said "Hello?" The response was " I'm... I'm sorry i dont even know what that is." here Im trying not to laugh. "well thats okay no one seems to." I respond. " I explain the basic a few times a month to people. What it basically mean is that I follow an asian karmic based system to govern my actions." " oh are you an asian?" she asks " No I'm as anglo as they come I just cant deal with the inner politics of christianity in a primarily christian country, It just seems like its run like a buisness to me." she replies " Uh-huh. Well then you have a nice day now." In an uncomfortable voice and then hangs up.
This is the best response I've had to anyone who has asked me. Due to some irritating neighbors in a previous abode making Jehovas Witnesses uncomfortable is an oft unrecognized joy of mine. If a somewhat guilty pleasure. But the response is far from unique. Every person I tell asks me to explain it. and i dont really mind its just I would like to find a few people who really already understand it so I at least can avoid the inevitable religion discusion.
